Research Experience:
Dr Shahrol Mohamaddan is currently a senior lecturer at the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). He completed his Bachelor and Master’s degree from Shibaura Institute of Technology, Japan and PhD from Loughborough University, UK. His research interest is in Ergonomics, Robotics, Automation and Biomedical. Currently, he is holding four (4) IPs (intellectual property) and one (1) commercialized project related to robotics and automation. At the international level, he was appointed as the invited lecturer in 2015 and 2019 by Shibaura Institute of Technology (SIT), Japan. He is also the Adjunct Associate Professor in year 2016-17 and 2019-202 at SIT.
At the national level, he is the Executive Committee for IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (IEEE-RAS) and member of Research Alliance for Intelligent System in Medical Technology
(RAISE-MED). He was the Head of Mechanical and Manufacturing Department from Sept 2015 until Dis 2018
